Earnings disclaimer
What we can and cannot say about money you might make as a Certified Phenom Instructor.
1. No income promise
Child Phenoms makes no promise or guarantee that you will earn any money as an instructor. Buying the certification is a purchase of training and tools. It is not a job offer, a franchise or a business opportunity.
2. The one number we print
Our certification page says: "The pricing sheet suggests $20 to $40 a session. Your rates are yours to set." That is a suggestion for setting your own prices, not a report of what instructors earn. We have no instructor earnings results to share yet.
That range is an example of what tutoring sessions often cost. It is not a record of what our instructors have earned, and it is not a forecast of what you will earn.
3. What actually decides your income
What you earn, if anything, depends on things we do not control:
- how much time and effort you put in
- where you live, and what families there will pay
- the rates you choose
- how many families you reach
- your teaching skill, and how your students do
Many instructors teach their own children or teach for free. Some will earn nothing.
4. Costs you may have
Running classes can cost money: space, supplies, abacuses for students, advertising, insurance, a background check and local licences. These are your costs, not ours.
5. You are your own business
Certified instructors are independent. They are not our employees, agents or partners. You set your own prices, find your own students and pay your own taxes. The Instructor Agreement has the details.
6. Stories and examples
Any story, example or figure about teaching or income on our pages, in emails, in the course or in the Launch Kit is an illustration. It is not typical, and you should not rely on it when deciding whether to buy.
